The Chinese Association of Western Massachusetts (CAWM) is a non-profit organization committed to fostering cultural diversity, facilitating cross-cultural communication, and promoting collaboration through a variety of cultural events and activities benefiting all communities in Western Massachusetts.We firmly believe in the unifying power of humanity amid our differences. By honoring and celebrating our diverse cultures and heritages, and by sharing our individual uniqueness, we can demonstrate to our children the profound connections we can forge with others. Live Performances
Traditional Chinese performances play a significant role in our events. Within our community, we are fortunate to have talented artists who are deeply passionate about sharing our rich heritage and culture. Traditional Arts & Crafts
Families are at the heart of our various events, where both children and adults can enjoy participating in culture-themed arts and crafts, creating memorable keepsakes to take home. Witnessing smiles and shared moments of bonding among entire families during these activities brings us immense joy and fulfillment!
Hands on Learning
What could be more memorable than experiencing hands-on learning of ancient crafts such as calligraphy, water ink painting, or Tai Chi? These practices have enriched Chinese culture for centuries. Not only is it a memorable experience, but it can also be incredibly relaxing. Join us to delve into these timeless arts and discover the tranquility they offer!

This year, we are excited to introduce a Chinese-style Street Food Market (小吃街), where attendees can stroll through the celebration and sample a variety of festive favorites and authentic street snacks. Come celebrate, taste, and experience the lively atmosphere of a Lunar New Year snack street!
