Linguistic Celebration 4/29

What a fantastic celebration of linguistic heritage in the Amherst area! CAWM was delighted to represent Chinese culture at this event. We engaged families in calligraphy, fan dancing, and paper cutting activities. Starting with 3D flower cutting, we ended up creating paper dolls! In addition, who would have thought that the Han Dynasty dress would turne out to be a perfect outfit for African drum dancing!

We extend our gratitude to Amherst Regional School for organizing such a wonderful event, providing kids and their families with an opportunity to experience the cultural diversity of their hometown.
