Springfield Dragon Boat Festival: worth the wait!

Following a postponement from July due to water levels, the Springfield Festival became a reality! Over 20 community and club teams participated in dragon boat racing throughout the day. The weather was perfect—neither too hot nor too cold, with just the right amount of cloud cover to avoid UV exposure—making it thoroughly enjoyable. CAWM's tent was a huge hit, offering 3D dragon boat making, origami, calligraphy, and a dragon boat photo booth. With Zongzi tasting and face painting, these free activities drew long lines and delighted everyone. Partnering with Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club, we were thrilled to bring such a wonderful event to our local community. 🍁🌈秋风微拂，龙舟竞渡；CAWM社区龙舟队圆满杀入进入决赛！最终获得社区队第四名。这得益于我们船员们前期的每次不惧风雨和骄阳的认真练习！作为所有船员皆为新手、第一次参赛的队伍能获得如此成绩，很值得骄傲！👍

🔥此外，在游人如织的活动现场，我们CAWM的展位被各方赞不绝口，无论是当地居民、还是其他船队的船员，都在我们的帐篷下流连忘返——有的学习书法，有的通过立体拼图了解龙舟结构，有的品尝粽子，有的购买工艺品……大家通过不同方式了解我们的中华文化。🐉

❤️同时，主办伙伴PVRC的多名同仁告诉我们，我们的参与为这次活动大添色彩，并希望继续合作！因此，我们可以继续期待明年的🐲🚣🏼‍♂️春田龙舟节🚣🏼‍♂️🐲的举办！希望天公作美，相约来年端阳！🍃
